St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Mason, TX began Sunday School classes on May 11. We hope your child, grandchild and/or small neighbor will join us for fun, fellowship and learning about God.

Sunday School is located in the parish hall behind the church and will begin at 11:00 AM, when the church service begins. Children will return to their parents at the time of Holy Communion.

The curriculum St. Martin's will be using for 2-5 year-olds is the “Great Big Bible Story Walkthrough” developed by Meredith Anne Miller. Curriculum for older age groups will be added as needed.

Each week the children will explore: a paraphrase of an Old Testament or New Testament story using age-accessible language; a “Story Poem” that sums up the plot with a fun rhyme; and then two response ideas to play, imagine, make, or move. Kid-friendly snacks will also be provided.

All adults leading the Sunday School have completed the national Episcopal Church's “Safeguarding God's Children” required by the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. There will always be two adults working with the children.
