Participation in God

The Rev. Dr. Tom Luck, Priest-in-Charge of St. Martin's, has a new book published by WIPF and Stock Publishers titled Participation in God: A Theological Framework for Individual and Congregational Development.

Background to Book

The subject of congregational development is human beings and their relationships with God and each other. This theological framework provides individual and congregational development an answer to the question, "What does individual and congregational development have to do with God?" Much of the reading and writing for this book were done during the COVID-19 pandemic, which raised new questions about how Christian communities gather without being in person. This in turn has prompted new questions and thoughts about the nature of worship, ecclesiology, and adaptive challenges, questions that Luck addresses through a theology of participation in God, particularly participation in God's glory.
